Teacher Blogs
Web logs, commonly called blogs, are the popular form of digital communities and have somewhat replaced listservs, chat rooms and other electronic versions of information sharing. The blog has evolved from an online diary where people kept a record of their daily activities and formed social networks to a form of journal where you can pose professional questions, make observations about your classroom or field of teaching, and link to other teachers with whom you wish to share information.
Your teacher blog can become an important tool during your mentoring process and on your professional journey as an educator. After you’ve posted your blog, viewers will have the opportunity to respond or comment to you. Please remember that the Teacher Blog is a professional site and is not intended for publishing personal information, slanderous or profane comments, or confidential information. Instructions for designing, publishing, as well as responding to and gathering information from teacher blogs on this web-site are available on our F.A.Q.'s page.
